No player has meant more to Lillestrøm Sportsklubb than Tom Lund. With his loyalty, his exceptional talent and his personality, he made deep marks far beyond the pitch - in the club, on Romerike and in Norwegian football. He is also considered one of Norway's all-time best players. He was an LSK player from 1967 to 1982, and later continued to influence the club as a coach in two periods (1985-1987 and 1990-1991). "Tommy" was a central figure in LSK's journey from third to first division, and he scored the decisive goal when the club became league champions in 1976. Throughout his career, he was tempted by offers from bigger clubs abroad, but consistently said no to stay in Lillestrøm. As a 20-year-old, he made his debut on the A-national team, and scored his first national team goal in 1972 against Iceland. At a time when Norway was not a football powerhouse, he distinguished himself as a player with rare technique, overview and playfulness. Achievements as a player: - League champion with LSK: 1976 and 1977 - Norwegian champion with LSK: 1977, 1978 and 1981 Later, Tom Lund would also influence the club as a coach, leading LSK to: - Cup championship in 1985 - League championship in 1986 - League silver in 1988 For generations of supporters and players, Tom Lund has been a symbol of pride, identity and belonging. He personified what makes LSK LSK. The club's thoughts are today primarily with his family and closest relatives. LSK will honor his memory and come back with more information as soon as it is available. On behalf of the entire club, we thank Tom for everything he gave and everything he was.
