The person received immediate medical treatment, but unfortunately, their life could not be saved. The Red Cross, doctors, and other healthcare personnel were quickly on the scene and began advanced medical treatment, including heart compressions. Later, the sad news came that the person who had a heart attack, died. The club has received a deeply moving response from the deceased's closest family. The family wants to express a big thank you to LSK, volunteers, healthcare personnel, and all those present who did everything they could to save their loved one's life. The psychological crisis team in Lillestrøm municipality has opened a phone number that those who witnessed the incident can call if they need to talk to someone. The teams had to warm up again before the game could start, and the incident clearly dampened the atmosphere at Åråsen. Two yellow cards and two own goals also contributed to it. Kristiansund won the game 2-1.
