Lillestrøm SK is ready for the NM semifinal after a decent 2-0 win against second-division team Bryne. Thomas Lehne Olsen and Gary Martin scored the goals for Lillestrøm SK. LSK coach Jørgen Lennartsson let several of the regular first-team players rest in Thursday's cup match, and the yellow-clad team struggled to create much in the beginning. Bryne had many men in defense, and the guests from Jæren kept away what came in the first half. A pass from Simen Rafn ended up with Thomas Lehne Olsen, who from five meters easily put the ball in the goal after 66 minutes of play. Three minutes later, the guests got a new cold shower. Fredrik Krogstad was fouled by Krister Wemberg, and Lillestrøm SK got a penalty. Gary Martin put it in the goal, and made sure that LSK had a good chance to advance to the semifinal. Lillestrøm SK's win against Bryne is their second win in four days. On Monday, they won 1-0 against Tromsø, a win that makes them still hang well in the battle to survive in Eliteserien. Before that, LSK had not won since May. Lillestrøm SK's next match will be in the NM semifinal, where they will meet one of the other semifinalists.
